Is American Idol subliminally lowering the iq of its viewers?

I am finding this easy to believe due to the fact that so many people ask the exact same, or very nearly same, questions. Every week, there are numerous questions based on “who got voted off American Idol tonight?” Really, 1 would have sufficed. This week there are multiple “How does it make you feel?” in relation to the one who was voted off tonight. Some of them are veiled with “Does it make you happy?”, I hope no one minds unmarked spoilers. I just do not understand why so many people wish to lose 10 points to ask the same question that 50 or more people have already asked.

I am sure at normal times these people are not so incomprehensible. There for, I ask everyone, is American Idol doing this to them? Is there somenthing in the show which makes them not just have to find out the person going home before they would normally be able to, but also give the show so much free publicity that it becomes the most annoying television show to the magority of the the Answers community…

Seriously, though, I am very interested in the public opinion of this question. I have not seen 50 questions already posted today asking exactly the same thing, so I do not feel I am wasting points, I am getting different answers as well, because this is not a straight 1 word answer type question.

Come on, how insanely idiotic and stupid are you all? First, if you can’t watch the show, I pity you and I understand wanting to know who got voted off.

However, WHY DO THREE MILLION of you have to ask the same question on Yahoo questions every week? Either go to the American Idol website, or just type american idol in the search bar of THIS website, and you can find all the other idiots who asked the same question.

Pumkin. If they have the right to ask an inane question over and over again, (an estimated average of 50 times within one hour), then I should surely have the right to mock, deride, and generally make fun of them…

P.S. I LOVE the show American Idol. I watch every week. I have my favorites, and if I miss a Wednesday night, I would want to know also… But there are so many ways to find out without holding up a sign that says “I’m an idiot!”

I’m with ya girlfriend! My guess is that several people end up asking the same question at the same time. Yahoo servers can’t keep up. But most likely people are just lazy! Half the questions on here could be answered if people knew how to do a simple internet search!

has anybody noticed that at the end of each show, when they show clips of everyone singing and the numbers to dial, the clips are not from the performances broadcasted live????

I dont know the reason for this. And i dont even know how they do it, if it indeed is a live show. HAS ANYBODY ELSE NOTICED THIS!?
